The IPMC was founded in December of 2000 as an independent non-profit organization. The IPMC was established to provide the opportunity for increased camaraderie and Brotherhood between current and retired Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters. All IPMC Chapter events are intended to promote safe activities that will appeal to the membership as a whole. The IPMC is designed to generate an increased level of enthusiasm for those who enjoy riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles or clones thereof that are manufactured by a North American owned and operated Company. All members, including Prospective members of the Iron Pigs Motorcycle Club MUST own and ride a North American built V-Twin motorcycle built by a North American owned and operated company. The IPMC is open to ALL Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters and a few select "Associate" members. All members shall posssess a valid motorcycle operators license and insurance as required by the members state. All members of the IPMC are expessly prohibited form associating with known outlaw motorcycle clubs. The IPMC of Detroit is a "Riding" Club that confirms our membership based on participation. If you are interested in joining a "Club"...you must understand and appreciate group dynamics and be willing to participate within our Club guidelines.
